Dawn quickly assessed my situation and let me know what’s possible and which lenders and mortgage products were ideal. Over the next couple of weeks, Dawn and I would exchange lots of emails, sometimes in the evening or weekend, as she worked hard on my file for a mortgage approval, advocating my case with the lender. I had lots of questions – about mortgage rates, prepayments, mortgage insurance, interest adjustment etc. I also changed my mind about my first-choice property, I revised my down payment amount, and I changed my mind on fixed/variable rates. Dawn was patient throughout, helping me navigate it all; she answered all my questions as a pro, providing insight and valuable recommendations. In the end, I got a good mortgage deal and was able to buy my first home at the time I wanted thanks to the great work from Dawn!
